I chose the subject “American Prose Literature-20th Century- History and Criticism because this text discusses the style and meaning behind certain American authors from the 20th century’s work such as Ralph Emmerson. The text specifically looks at the author’s use of nature within their writing as well and discusses a critical analysis of the use of nature in 20th century literature, being that this is historical to readers today I thought that history and criticism fit well within the subject.
